Odlewnia Żeliwa I Metali Nieżelaznych Spomel Spółdzielnia Pracy “SPOMEL” S.P. in Lębork was established in 1950. The company's headquarters is located in the industrial zone of the city, at ul. Abrahama 15.
Owing to many years of tradition and high qualifications of our employees, we gained experience in serial manufacturing of castings that satisfy the expectations of customers from Poland and abroad alike, and our company has been recognized as a trustworthy business partner and a reliable supplier.
The main buyers of our castings are manufacturers of agricultural machinery, water and sewage equipment and installations, railway rolling stock, energy equipment, and road infrastructure elements.
We provide a comprehensive service that entails casting design, foundry equipment production, mechanical processing and painting (also in cooperation with our specialised partners), packaging (per the agreed specifications), and delivery.

We manufacture castings in accordance with procedures established as part of the certified quality management system per the ISO 9001 standard, and the manufacturing cycle is carried out in compliance with occupational health and safety standards and principles for environmental protection, with the use of the best technology available.
The company constantly cooperates with industry research institutes and universities in order to improve its products and processes and uses the support of European Funds and the Social Insurance Fund.

The aim of the project is to improve health and safety of employees working at the positions of machine moulder, mould loader and casting breaker; this is to be accomplished by installing a filtering and ventilation system that reduces the impact of dust and chemical factors.
